The whole idea of a wiki is that people can collaborate without sitting in the same room at the same time. By all means have some meetings, particularly to organize who does what and to set deadlines, but virtual collaboration is much easier to organize. With a little practice, you'll find it works well. You can even use AIM/Skype/whatever to discuss content while working on it from home.

You should add material frequently in small batches. That way your colleagues can see what you have. It's a bad idea to wait while you "collect a bunch of articles" and then add them to the wiki much later and all at once.

One page per topic. For example, you should have a page for the business model of a company. Your "business models" page will summarize/synthesize the individual pages. If your wiki is well organized its easier for me and your colleagues to add value.

You should have many short pages rather than few long ones. Long pages are too hard to navigate. When a page becomes too long, split it.

I have been trying to figure out how I can come to a formula to figure out the customer acquisition cost for each. So far I have just arrived at how much each would make from a single team with each option. ( For $5 :1,000 pages impressions or $0.40: a single click). Going at a rate of $5:1,000; they will make $…. and same for the other. Please help. Thanks.

On the class wiki it says that revenue = price x quantity. According to that definition it does not included any s&h fees paid by the customer. However, I found a definition of revenue online that said s&h is included in revenue because you could charge the customer $10 for s&h when it only cost $2 to actually ship it. So I'm not sure which definition of revenue I should follow.

Hi! I was just trying to work on the homework for next Monday and I have a couple of questions. For the question about pets.com you ask why they failed the numbers test, what exactly do you mean by the numbers test?

3. Use Amazon.com's 2007 income statement to compare Amazon.com fulfillment costs as a percentage of net sales with those of DUB Pies's online sales (for DUB, assume that fulfillment costs include all shipping, handling and transaction costs). How do you explain the difference?

In the question you want us to analyze the fulfillment cost. Does that mean use the fulfillment cost at the end of the income statement where it says fulfillment = 39 and then find out the fulfillment cost of DUB pie's and see the difference between the two? I just wanted to make sure I am on the right track. Thank you for your time.
